This walk starts after a 15 minute drive in the countryside from the Oxenham Arms.

This is a classic Dartmoor walk and has everything – moorland, tors, woodland, a river valley andan Iron Age fort.


Lustleigh Cleave is part of the East Dartmoor Woods & Heaths National Nature Reserve and is home to deer, rare butterflies anddippers by the River Bovey. Best tackled on a clear day, this walk is demanding but a rewarding adventure just a short drive from The Oxenham Arms.
